- Complexity: handle clients with 2-10 accounts
- Travis: we get buried in the middle – product is financial statement. Worklogs track getting bookkeeping finished. Which clients don’t have a financial statement; and why not?
- Jared: don’t even know IF we have a financial statement
- JB: imposing process dominance on clients, rather than total submission to their variability and historical ways of wanting/doing things.
- IT – Dave – Tim Doll – Judy: new employee setups – leveraging Teams
- Tim setting up new employees or new systems, configuring with software etc

- Sales/marketing – Haden – adapting upcoming workshops; suggestion to look at engagement letters

- Client inquired – so Amanda referred to Candace, who was out of town

- Team should be trained on selling payroll value proposition
- Partners also need to be up to date on payroll

- Joe spoke to Denise – people don’t recommend Payroll – based on issue 1.5 years ago

- Judy: payroll team has Kathy as a resource
- Jared: Payroll can be challenging
- Hypothesis: there is a value to integrating payroll with other systems. Proof would be if clients are willing to pay a premium.
- Carson: team is onboarding clients fine. Candace reached out to an existing client, made sale.
- HR – Joe- Judy: competency development plans for performance reviews
- JB needs Judy’s list of partner meeting competencies / subject matter experts – three years ago – Haden: before Barbara got involved of admin stuff; made a list of areas we would assign to managers to become expert in.
- Joe: org chart plus – with everyone being remote, should we restart that. Fifteen minute all hands meeting.
- Judy: could also announce January 1 re-opening
- August performance reviews
- Good news on client experience with PPP and other assistance. One client has asked for forbearance.
- Haden: June was a busy month for dentists. COVID increasing. Dental offices not at risk of being closed down (PPE now available, infection control). Things could slow down. Haden concerned about fees being scrutinized by clients later in the year.
- Jared: have clients paid their monthly bills/invoices?
- Judy: collections down 15% through April. Clients got PPP money in May.
- Joe as Master of Ceremonies.

- Haden – Steve clients would have had meeting in May or June – COVID interrupted momentum – Haden urges getting them scheduled. Steve said reach out by end of August to schedule appointment, at a minimum.
